2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

TASTING NOTES:

• Colour: medium-to-deep red.
• Bouquet: dark berry fruits hints of violets and plums and cedar oak overtones.
• Palate: It’s medium-bodied, with ripe fruit – redcurrant, mint, Black Forest cake and rich soft tannins. It’s early days for this wine, but it will pass the test of time if you put it down to age in your cellar.

"This is a blend of 70% cabernet sauvignon and 30% merlot. Rich ruby hue. Blackberry, dusty earth and plums on the nose. Medium weight with plum fruit at the core and a lovely savoury dusty earth note that speaks of where it’s from. As it runs along the palate, dried tobacco and nori notes add to the complexity. Good length and focus to a dry end. Lots of bang for the bucks."
